Sea Change

A Bertram Chandler specializes in sea stories thinly disguised as science fiction, and says of himself that he is either a poor but honest writer who has to go to sea to earn a crust, or poor but honest mariner who has to write to earn the butter and jam to put on the same crust. He is best known, perhaps, for his Rim Worlds series - essentially Space Opera with a markedly Antipodean flavor.
